Times have changed, Broulee is now home to 2 full High Schools, a Primary School, plus the ever expanding Banksia Lodge Retirement Village.
Broulee is one of Canberrans most popular destination on the coast.
Over the past 50 plus years visitors to Broulee, particularly Canberra residents, have enjoyed many a family holiday.
Holiday properties are often handed down to the next generation, so that they too can relive their child memories with their children. Friendships between visiting families are regularly renewed during visits at weekends and school holidays.
It is this connection between family and friends enjoying some of the best beaches on the south coast that makes Broulee so popular.
